Amanda has taken time to ensure she meets industry recognised standards for her clinics quality and safety as well her professionalism and qualifications and this is why is has chosen to be assessed and registered with both Save Face and Safety in Beauty who aim to ensure patient safety is paramount. For Amanda, it’s important to also engage in on-going training and attend regular conferences to ensure that she remains up to date with industry developments and offer her patients the latest treatments and techniques. Amanda’s aim is to provide the best possible treatments using only safe and ethically sourced products.
Alongside her NMC (Nursing & Midwifery Council) nursing registration , Amanda is also an accredited practitioner of Save Face and Safety in Beauty. She is also a member of a number of aesthetic organisations such as The Aesthetics Academy, Aesthetic Complications and Management Group (ACE), Private Independent Aesthetic Practitioner Association (PIAPA) to name a few. These help to keep updated, share good practice and receive clinical supervision as well as peer to peer support. Before establishing Clare’s Cosmetic Skin Centre, Clare Jilani was the co founder & managing director of The Island Cosmetic Clinic, Her career in Aesthetics began in 2001. Cosmetic treatments were sparse on the Isle of Wight and the rest of the UK at this time. Clare has watched the industry grow and trained other Nurses and Aestheticians. During her time at The Island Cosmetic Clinic she was the registered manager from 2006-2018 for the clinics registration with the Care Quality Commission. This role involved a high level of responsibility to deliver good clinical governance, which Clare continues to practice through her work.
