Nikki Butler – My background
I am an experienced Medical & Cosmetic Tattooist, based in Alton in Hampshire. I’d like to share a little about my background with you, as I took a massive leap of faith and changed my career several years ago.
My early career was in Law. I graduated in 2000 and then I spent many years working in Legal Management roles. I worked for over a decade in the personal injury and medical negligence field, before becoming Head of Corporate Contracts for one of the leading mobile telecoms operators. I didn’t enjoy work at all, but somehow felt that you weren’t supposed to enjoy it. How wrong I was!
I am a keen learner, so I studied nutritional therapy, personal training and beauty whilst I worked full time. I have also been on numerous silver smith workshops – which is a real passion of mine. Most of all I enjoy being able to really make a difference to how people feel, whether that is from providing a treatment or gifting personalised jewellery.
I became interested in Medical and Cosmetic Tattooing after one of my beautiful friends suggested that I train as a Medical Tattooist (at this point I didn’t even know such a job existed!). My friend had been left with sparse eyebrows following treatment, she had also been left without an areola or nipple after a mastectomy. She was an absolute inspiration to me and the reason I do what I do today.
From the moment I started my training, I knew I had finally found my ‘THING’! I treat a lot of patients that have been through life changing events, which have impacted them both physically and mentally. The most rewarding thing for me is seeing my clients confidence blossom from treatment to treatment, that is priceless!
Don’t forget to mention Pink Pound at time of booking! Nikki is looking forward to meeting you!
