At Pink Pound we’ve been working very hard to recruit the best fitness & life coaching professionals to help empower you and feel full of confidence for Gay Pride 2020! We’ve been getting to know Michelle Crawford, who also is a member of the LGBTQ and has been working in the fitness industry for years. Now she wants to offer her fabulous motivational services to everyone in our Pink Pound LGBTQ community.

Michelle took up training as an adult to help manage her own anger problems and develop better self-confidence and self-control. It also helped her with co-ordination problems due to being dyslexic. Michelle has been a trained counsellor for over 15 years and have worked with all kinds of people in all kinds of situations. In her 20’s she got into martial arts and this led to her becoming interested in meditation and mindfulness.
With experience and qualifications in psychology / sports psychology, counselling and hypnotherapy along with her Fitness experience and qualification allow her to deliver a unique form of counselling and fitness. This kind of programme helps clients to deal with negative behavioural patterns, thoughts and beliefs which are restricting them from achieving their goals or good quality of life.
Michelle’s training has helped her confront and brake down many stereotypes placed on her as a female and gay women. She does not accept the limitations placed on her around her personal life, sexuality, gender or physiology by society and she will bring this philosophy into her teaching.
Talking Fitness – A better way of doing therapy as it is less formal and uses exercise to help improve emotional wellbeing, releases endorphins (our happy hormone) and gets rid of physical tension, I am a trained counsellor with many years experience of working with people of all ages, cultures and communities. Therefor I am able to offer counselling through talking therapy and exercise. I specialise in body dysmorphia, eating disorders, sexual abuse, sexuality and the lgbtq communitty. This kind of therapy is also good for every day and work tensions.
Functional training – circuits using body weight, kettlebells, weights, suspension training, boxing. It Improves body posture, muscle toning, bone and joint strength, weight loss, muscle increase. Also Improves endurance, strength, flexibility and cardiovascular system.
Self-defence & Pad Workouts – uses martial arts training and techniques as part of a fitness regime. This includes padwork, punching and kicking, weights and improves flexibility. It is also good for cardio, stamina, muscular and core strengths,
